ANZAC Day in New York 2024

On the 25th of April, we take a moment to remember those who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served.

From the Australian Women in New York:

This year Anzac Day falls on Thursday April 25, 2019. Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance for Australian and New Zealand women and men who served in all wars to defend their country.

We pay our respects to all those who have served in our militaries and reflect on their courage and sacrifice. We remember those who never returned, those who were injured from battle and those who maintained the home front. We acknowledge those who are currently serving.

For Australian and New Zealanders far from home in New York, we can come together to pay our respects and commemorate Anzac Day in NYC through the following events:

  1. Hello Josh,

Thanks for sharing our guide on your blog. It’s so important for us Aussie and NZ expats to stay connected to events that are culturally significant for us. And it’s such a joy to collaborate with such an enthusiastic and talented network of Aussies in NYC.

    Regards
