New to New York and looking make a difference?

Ads-Up is a group of Australians in the USA who are working to support the 1250 refugees from Manus Island and Nauru being resettled in America under the US-Australia refugee deal.

They're a collective of like-minded Australians based in NYC and around the country, mobilizing the Aussie diaspora (“the dispersion of any people from their original homeland”) to step up and provide social support and financial assistance for those refugees in need.

Right now they are looking for some volunteer support based out of NYC! That could be you!

Previous volunteers have come from a variety of backgrounds:

  • Nursing;
  • PR;
  • Media;
  • and more.

Some have volunteered on a regular basis and others on an ad-hoc basis for as little as a few hours a week… it all adds up and helps immensely.

The network of volunteers have formed lasting friendships, have enjoyed contributing to a meaningful cause, and have expanded their professional networks along the way. So if you're new to New York and want to give something back…

Please contact [email protected] to get involved!
