Nordic Walking and Coffee with New Friends
Join us after Coffee with New Friends for a free Nordic Walking session in Central Park. Whether you’re easing back into exercise, rehabbing an injury, or just want a fun, adaptable workout you’ll get a taste of this full-body, low-impact activity. Poles provided!
After Friday coffee, keep the momentum going with Nordic Walking in Central Park! This full-body workout uses poles to transform walking into a low-impact, high-energy exercise that’s easier on the joints than running but far more effective than a regular walk.
It’s perfect if you’re getting back into exercise, nursing an old injury, or just want a smart, time-efficient workout that leaves you energized (not exhausted). Sonja Johansson, neuromotor coach and Feldenkrais Practitioner, will guide you through the basics.
Free to attend: poles provided with RSVP and hiking poles welcome if you have your own.
