Hoboken (NJ) – Aussie Afternoon Tea Experience

Join Hoboken Tea Company and @boomerangbites for an exclusive Afternoon Tea event on May 20th. Features premium tea tasting and introduction to tea by a local Tea Sommelier—all while you enjoy Aussie-inspired sandwiches and sweet treats.

10% of ticket sales will be donated to the Hoboken Public Education Foundation.

This small-group event is designed as a thoughtful midday outing—an easy, enjoyable way to step out of your routine, spend time with a friend, or meet others in the community.

The experience begins with a short, approachable introduction to loose leaf tea, followed by a guided tasting that focuses on flavor and how to get more out of what you’re drinking. After the tasting, you’ll settle in for a light lunch and a full pot of tea of your choice, served alongside a selection of sandwiches and Australian-style pastries from Boomerang Bites.

More about the experience than the tea itself, this is meant to be comfortable, conversational, and unhurried. Whether you already enjoy tea or don’t think of yourself as a “tea person,” you’ll feel right at home.

Each guest will also receive a small tea sample to take home.
