Where to Watch the Socceroos in America: A Complete Guide to Every Socceroos Watch Party

The Socceroos are playing three group matches on US soil this June, and for the first time in our history, two of them happen close enough to home that you can pick a city, find a venue, and watch the boys in green and gold with a crowd of other Australians. The fixtures: Türkiye on June 13, the host nation USA on June 19, and Paraguay on June 25. After that, the road to the knockout stages begins.

We've built a brand new site at aussiewatchparty.com that lists every confirmed Socceroos watch party in America. You can sort by your ZIP code, filter by match, and find RSVPs and venue details for each. It's free, hand-curated, and fully integrated with the Australian Embassy's official watch party list as its foundation. This article walks through what's on the site, how to use it, and a few of the standout venues you should know about.

The three Socceroos matches in the 2026 tournament

Three group-stage matches define the Australian schedule for the month of June. Two are in the US, so you can drive or fly to the actual stadium if you're keen. One is in Canada, so a US-based watch party is the play.

  • Australia vs Türkiye — Saturday June 13, 9:00 PM PT (12:00 AM ET) at BC Place, Vancouver
  • Australia vs USA — Friday June 19, 12:00 PM PT (3:00 PM ET) at Lumen Field, Seattle
  • Australia vs Paraguay — Thursday June 25, 7:00 PM PT (10:00 PM ET) at Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, California

The middle match is the one to circle in red. Australia versus the host nation, on US soil, at the home stadium of an NFL team. It will be the loudest match of the group stage for Aussies in America. Watch parties for that match are filling up fastest.

Why I built a Socceroos watch party directory

Up to now, finding a Socceroos watch party in the US has meant a fragmented hunt. Facebook groups, embassy social posts, individual pub websites, word-of-mouth recommendations — no single source. The Australian Embassy publishes a partial list at usa.embassy.gov.au/fifaworldcup, but it's just a static page, not a searchable directory.

Aussiewatchparty.com solves that. Every venue on the site comes from one of two sources. Either it's pulled from the embassy's official list and enriched with full details, or it's submitted directly by the host and approved through admin review. There's no upcharge, no advertising, no paywall. It's a fan-built tool to make a chaotic month easier.

The America Josh community is the largest network of Australians in the US, with over 75,000 people across our channels. We hear from members every June asking the same question — where can I watch the match with other Aussies? This year, we have an answer for every city we cover.

Standout Socceroos watch party venues to know about

There are 12 confirmed venues across eight US cities as of publication, with more being added weekly. A few stand out for scale or significance.

UBS Arena in Elmont, New York is hosting an arena-scale ticketed watch party for the Australia vs USA match on June 19. The home of the New York Islanders gets converted into a giant Aussie viewing space for that afternoon. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.

San Pedro Square Market in San Jose is the largest Bay Area viewing party. They're screening all three matches. Open-air market vibe, food and drinks on site, family-friendly.

The Australian Consulate General is hosting the Honolulu watch party at The Row Kakaako. It's a community-organised event with consular staff on the ground.

The Golden Gate Australian Football League (GGAFL) is running a free watch party at BuzzWorks San Francisco for the Australia vs USA match. RSVP through Partiful. No charge, but capacity is real.

Kangaroo & Kiwi Pub in Ballard, Seattle is showing all three matches. If you want a proper pub atmosphere with other Aussies and Kiwis, this is your spot.

Victory Hall at The Boxyard in SoDo, Seattle is hosted by the Australian American Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Northwest chapter. It's also closer to Lumen Field, for anyone who couldn't get into the actual match.

Spokane, Bellingham, and San Francisco also have venues confirmed for at least one match each. The full list is on the site. More cities are being added as new submissions come in.

How to find a Socceroos watch party near you

The site is built around a ZIP-code search. Enter your ZIP, and it returns watch parties within 75 miles. You also get a separate list of everything else across the country, in case you're planning a road trip.

Every venue page has the practical detail you need. Doors-open time, food and drink situation, family-friendly status, RSVP method, and a Google Maps deep-link for directions. Kickoff times display in your local timezone automatically.

For RSVPs, each venue either runs its own through the site or links out to an external platform. If they use ours, you submit your details, get a confirmation email, and a reminder 24 hours before kickoff. Otherwise, you click through to Ticketmaster, Partiful, AXS, or Eventbrite — whichever the host is using.

The interactive map shows every venue as a green pin and zooms automatically to your search radius. Useful if you're not sure which city to pick or you're traveling.

Hosting your own Socceroos watch party?

If you run a pub, sports bar, fan zone, embassy, or community group and you're hosting a Socceroos watch party that isn't already listed, submit it at aussiewatchparty.com/submit. Submissions go through a quick admin review and then appear on the site, the search, and the map.

Listings are free. You can include a custom poster, sponsor logos, your own RSVP method (or use ours), and host notes. Whenever someone RSVPs through the site, you get notified directly. That way you can plan your venue capacity.

This is especially relevant for venues outside the cities we already cover — Boston, Chicago, Denver, Austin, LA, Miami, DC, Atlanta. If you're hosting and you'd like to be found, get on the list.

What to know before you go

A few practical notes that apply across most venues.

Most parties open doors at least 30 minutes before kickoff. The June 19 match against the US starts at noon Pacific (3 PM Eastern). It's a midday event in most of the country, so plan around lunch, not dinner.

Many venues are ticketed or RSVP-required because capacity is real, especially for the Australia vs USA match. Don't assume you can rock up at the door. Seattle especially will have multiple venues at capacity.

Most pub-based watch parties are 21+ from kickoff. Consulate-hosted and family-friendly events are noted as such on the venue pages — check before bringing kids.

Wear the green and gold. Bring an Aussie flag if you have one. This is a once-every-four-years event happening in our adopted country, and the venues hosting these parties want to feel like home.

Find your Socceroos watch party

The full directory is live at aussiewatchparty.com. Enter your ZIP code, find the closest venue, RSVP if needed, and turn up wearing green and gold.

The site is built and maintained by America Josh, the largest community of Australians living in or moving to the United States. It's a fan-built directory, not affiliated with FIFA, Football Australia, or any governing body. It exists because our community needed it.

Allez les Verts. Go Socceroos.
