You're Australian and you live or are visiting New York over Australia Day 2020 (January 26 for those of you playing from home) and you'd like to celebrate somehow. If you're looking for something to eat

An initiative by Aussies Abroad, various coffee shops and restaurants around town will be combining Australia Day with bushfire relief fundraisers donating their profits. See details on the image below.

If you're looking for something with music

Join New York based Aussie singer/songwriters, Tracey Yarad, MiG Ayesa, Karen Jacobsen, and Nadia Ackerman for an afternoon of music, stories, and short films with an emphasis on real life experiences growing up in Australia. Enjoy Australian wine and cheeses by Grounded Foods. Launching the Australian Music Festival NYC. Proceeds donated to WIRES.

For those of you who like to sweat for a cause

A few Aussies in New York have partnered with Barry's Bootcamp to fundraise for the Australian Red Cross. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to all those fighting for survival.
