Charlotte (SC) – Netball America Sports Academy

An incredible opportunity for you to participate in an international sports academy development weekend event.  This weekend will be full of workshops, skills and drills and game play for everyone! Coaches and umpires will also receive mentoring and testing. All participants have the option to receive a FREE fitness and agility assessment using an amazing AI tool provided by TalentLockr who has been helping develop athletes across the world.

NOTE – Early Bird Deadline to register is August 9th. 

The My Netball Sports Academy program is designed to help you on your Stripes to Stars Pathway for you to get an individual, club level or national certification or just help you get started and develop as a player, athlete or coach.   However, this event is designed for any coach, umpire or athlete who want to help elevate their own skills.  Netball is the original women's basketball, however the skills of hand/eye coordination, body control, spatial awareness and elevation can be applied to other sports, and those who play basketball, volleyball, soccer, handball or ultimate frisbee will also benefit from this event.

This is an event not to be missed with an amazing lineup of world class presenters for you, and we are continually adding new presenters, so stay tuned to our facebook, instagram or website pages.   As you saw on our flyer, we have the G.O.A.T. of Netball Gretel Bueta (Australian Diamonds) and former Women's National Basketball League Player, MLB World Series Champion for Chicago WhiteSox, Brian Anderson, Dr. Marlene Holmes, a former Division 1 College Athlete and with a doctorate in social work focuses on the intersection of sport and mental wellness and amazing coach and athlete Mo'ana Gerrard, formerly of Australian Diamonds and played for Tonga in the last Commonwealth Games.  Other special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
