“Think Locally. Act Globally.” During the highest tension since WWII, a Russian and a German ambassador are forced to keep working together on other issues facing the UN. Meanwhile, strategic staff and interpreters grow frustrated by their seemingly meaningless work, causing some rash decisions in both their personal and professional lives, in Thirdwing's THE UNITED NATIONS: THE BORDER AND THE COAST.

Playwright notes about The Unite Nations: The Border and the Coast

This play seeks to grapple, comedically, with a few questions that the UN represents: “What am I/ are we supposed to be doing right now? To be a better person, to feel safe, to be on the right side of history, to be moral, to protect my family? Who am I as a global citizen, a partner in a relationship, a coworker, or a New Yorker? What team am I on but also what kind of individual am I?”
