I really like puzzles. Finding the corners, linking them to the edges, becoming frustrated that you're sure this piece is missing, finding the piece, and placing it gently as the last piece to reveal a magical picture of awesome. But I don't want to do the same one twice…
So here starts my dilemma. You can find puzzles on Amazon just fine, and there are lots of them… But they're not cheap!
I can't really justify spending $555 on puzzles every week (holy moly) but I would like something new to put together every so often.
So…
Let's start a puzzle swap
Here's my idea, I want to swap puzzles with others.
I think it will be relatively easy if we agree to meet up and exchange puzzles in a public place, no cops.
While there are big communities that do this, I wanted to start something a little smaller where we could meet up and exchange whenever we need a new puzzle!
Here's the first puzzle I have to exchange. It was a fun one because it's filled with bright colors and wasn't too difficult. A fun one to get into over a weekend.
How to get involved in Puzzle Swap NYC
Do you have some puzzles and would like to exchange or swap?
I don't know how many people are interested in this, but I've made a form so we can get started!
You can tell me what kind of puzzle you've got, and we can build a little network of puzzle swappers who will meet, swap puzzles, and keep in touch about new puzzles you might have bought!
That way, we can all get something new to puzzle over and not have to buy new puzzles every month (or a week, if you're really good) and everyone's a winner!
