First Wednesday: Pizza, Beer, & Wine (June 1)

A chance to get together, to ask questions, and to make new friends both personal and professional with free pizza, beer, and wine!

On the First Wednesday of every month, I’m hosting an event, somewhere in the city, for those who are new and old to the New York (and American) community. Everyone is welcome to join whether you've been here for twenty-four hours or twenty-four years, it doesn’t matter, because we all bring something different and something special.

First Wednesdays run for three hours and you're welcome to join for all or some of the event depending on when you're free!

What are people saying about First Wednesdays?

    How do First Wednesdays work?

I hear a lot that you want opportunities to make new friends, meet new people, and build groups just like you might have elsewhere. So first and foremost, that's what this is. Making new friends in a big city where it can be difficult sometimes.

I also know that there are lots of you in businesses and jobs who want to make some professional connections. It's always handy in a meeting or interview to say “I know that company” or “I know that woman!” so I want to help.

First Wednesdays start with 1 hour of business networking (6-7pm) where you can throw your business cards around, drink a beer or wine, introduce yourself professionally, and build your professional network. Then at 7, it's strictly non-business, and out comes the pizza, (with beer, and wine).

In the summer months, we’ll find venues outdoors, and in the winter months, I’ll be sure to pick venues to keep you all warm.

It's meant to be relaxed, it's meant to be fun, it's meant to be just like the community and friends you may have in another place.

Tickets can be canceled and will be refunded, excluding fees, ONLY up to 7 days before the event.
