Body dissatisfaction has a significant yet overlooked impact on employee wellbeing and organizational performance. In the US alone, body dissatisfaction costs businesses $69 billion dollars in productivity losses. Body image doesn’t just affect the bottom line, it impacts our wellbeing too. We also know that 60-70% of adults are dissatisfied with their appearance- and when people don’t like how they look, it makes them more than 24 times more likely to develop depression.

Imagine the collective productivity your organisation could harness if your people stopped spending so much time wishing that their bodies were different and focused on helping others, solving problems and kicking goals at work. It’s not something that people often think about and talk about in the US, but body image is a barrier to Women in Leadership, and a barrier to achieving gender equality.

Join us for an enlightening Embrace@Work session with 2023 Australian of the Year and Filmmaker Taryn Brumfitt, Body image expert and Adjunct Associate Professor Dr Zali Yager; and lawyer turned People and Culture expert, Ellen Hooper. This dynamic team will delve into the transformative power of embracing positive body image to enhance team engagement, productivity, and overall wellbeing.

Don’t miss this opportunity to uncover the hidden factors affecting your top talent and gain actionable insights to foster a healthier, more engaged and productive workplace.

The co-founders of Embrace@Work have, between them, reached 200 million people in 190 countries, earned six degrees, published 60 research papers, produced two feature films, raised over $8 million, published seven books, recorded a #1 song on iTunes, published a magazine, presented at Google and Harvard, and been invited to the White House by Joe Biden, President of the United States. And not to mention—between them, they have nine children.
