New York – ANZAC Day Commemorative Service

An America Josh event

The Australian Consulate-General, New York together with the American Australian Association, will co-host an ANZAC Day Commemorative Service at Trinity Church Wall Street.

Anzac Day, 25 April, is one of Australia’s most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War, landing in Gallipoli in 1915.

ANZAC stands for ‘Australian and New Zealand Army Corps’. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as Anzacs, and the pride they took in that name endures to this day.

To commemorate ANZAC Day 2026, the Australian Embassy, Consulates-General and many expat community groups are hosting services and events.

Featuring musicians from the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Trinity Choir and Cadets of West Point – The US Military Academy

Dress:
Civilian – respectful attire.
Military – service dress or equivalent with medals.
