Coffee with New Friends are for anyone and everyone to join. We started these regular catch-ups with a very simple concept: We're stronger together as a community and meeting new friends can be relaxed and fun. Come along, enjoy a coffee, tell your story, and learn something from the people around you!

These events are a chance to chat, meet some new friends, and find some great coffee. They’re casual, you can stay for as long or as little as you'd like, and there’s always a mix of old and new faces.

For those new to the city, it’s a chance to meet some new friends, for the long-timers, it’s a chance to reconnect, and for everyone, it’s a wonderful opportunity to take a moment for yourself.

What's coffee with new friends?

In late 2020, after a year of isolation and lockdown, America Josh started a weekly Coffee & Cake in the East Village of New York City. The popularity of good coffee and chance to make new friends has seen it expand into other states around the US and we are proud to partner with the Mateship Foundation to bring this to WeHo.

The concept is simple: Have a delicious coffee, support a local (awesome) business, and allow people to connect with each other in the most comfortable setting.

We’re better together, we’re stronger as a community, and we have lots more fun with new friends!

Who can come to coffee with new friends?

Everyone! This event isn’t just for new arrivals to America, it's not just for Australians, and is only made richer by having a diversity of people at every catch-up.
