Where to get a visa for the U.S. – Which country is best?

A question that gets asked constantly on web forums, on Facebook groups, and in expat communities is: “Has anyone been to COUNTRY to get a visa? How long did it take to get your passport back and how easy was it?”.

This gets asked so many times that I thought it was time to do something about it.

Introducing America Josh's U.S. Visa Location Review!

You'll find reviews from those who have recently got a visa, descriptions about locations, and a brief summary of how long it will take for you to get your visa back.

This should take some of the guesswork out of the process and ensure that wherever you go, you'll know how long to leave between your flights, and how difficult you can expect the process to be.

You can search and sort quickly with a rating scale that starts at green for great, through yellow and orange, to red if that location has received a number of bad reviews on average.

If you have recently gone for a visa trip, I'd love for you to add to the database, so please go to our submissions page and yours will instantly become available for everyone else.

If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them at [email protected]!

Happy traveling
