Starting TODAY, November 1, you can sign up for health coverage at HealthCare.govIf you’ve come to the US and do not have health care through your employer, or have waited too long to get insurance, then this is the only time in a year that you can do it.

It’s incredibly important as healthcare is so crucially important to life in America, so read the details below and head to right now.

First things first, if you’re unclear about terms like “co-pay” or “deductible” then there’s a great site at JustPlainClear that should help you reduce this down to something actually meaningful (that I’ll go through in the future).

  1. You must sign up by December 15. If you want 2018 coverage, there is just the one deadline. Beat the rush and sign up early.
  2. Coverage could be more affordable than you think. Last year, 8 in 10 people qualified for financial help.
  3. If you already have coverage, shop and save. Already have health coverage through, on November 1 head back to update your information and compare your options for 2019. There may be plans available that save you money.
  4. Free in-person help is available. If you have questions about signing up or want to talk through your options with a trained professional, free help is just a call or click away. Call 1-800-318-2596 or visit
