Meet America You

What I wanted to do with this site from the beginning was to bring together information from all over the internet and provide it for free to any person thinking about moving to New York and the United States. While there is lots of information already available, I found it difficult when I was planning to move to find a single resource that had everything I needed and set out to correct that.

Since starting it I have met new friends, had lots of emails, and had a fantastic time doing it, so now it’s time to do something more with what we’ve created together, and give back!

Here’s my plan:

I want to meet you, and once a week I want to write something about someone I’ve met in New York. The questions are simple, but I want to show off the fantastic Australians who are living in New York (and hopefully all over the US in the coming months).

To start, I’ve created an online form where you can introduce yourself, and from there we’ll meet up and have a chat.

I don’t care if you’ve made it big, had a tough time, been looking for opportunities, or if you just want to say “G’day”. What I do want is simply to meet some great people.

In return, I’m happy to promote a business, website or a cause that you believe in. It could be a start-up that you’re involved in, it could be your own LinkedIn page, it could be a charity you love, or it could even be a funny website you think everyone should know about; it’s completely up to you.

So if you’re interested, fill in your details below and we can set up a time to meet!

I can’t wait.

  • This isn't your whole profile, and is just so I know who to look for when we meet. Don't think about it too much, just write what first comes to mind. "I'm Josh, a 30 year old guy who rolled in to New York City in January 2017 after giving away my cat, Aslan".
